Meet Chef Dylan Arriaza

Chef, sommelier, and founder of Vin X Food & Wine Events, LLC. A culinary enthusiast with a passion for hospitality.

 

Originally from New York, Chef Dylan Arriaza moved to Southern California to attend California State Polytechnic University. He graduated from the hospitality/culinary program and was quickly recruited by Ritz Carlton Hotels & Resorts. It was there that he started his mission of anticipating the unexpressed wishes and needs of his guests. He has worked at various prestigious properties; La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Miraval Resort & Spa in Tucson, The Hayes Mansion in San Jose, and Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara, just to name a few. Having such an extreme passion for food & wine, he went on to study at the Court of the Master and added sommelier to his title in 1999. He then went on to launch his own business, Vin X Food & Wine Events, LLC, where he blends his culinary and wine expertise to create unforgettable events.

 

Preparing the perfect pairing of wine and food requires a finely tuned palate and an appreciation for the finer things in life. Finding the right blend of flavors is an art that can elevate your event to the next level. It is here where Chef Dylan continues to exceed expectations using a creative approach blending the latest trends with handcrafted dishes and wine pairings. Vin X Food & Wine Events, LLC caters to food and wine pairing events at wineries, corporate gatherings, weddings, food & wine festivals, private intimate dining experiences, and much more throughout California.
